Wheelchair Accessible VW Caddy

A wheelchair accessible vehicle converted by Allied Mobility and adapted with a ramp that can be folded flat inside the vehicle creating a boot (when the wheelchair user is not on board) or stowed upright (when wheelchair user is on board).

As you will see from the photographs, the rear three seats can be folded either as two together, one on its own or all three together combination.  Ideal for a family as this WAV can carry up to six passengers including the wheelchair user and the wheelchair position is located just behind the rear seats.  The blackout windows in the back provide privacy for the rear passengers if this is a preference.  Storage comes in the form of an overhead front shelf and is great for storing items out of sight plus there are some side pockets in the rear.  Plenty of drinks holders both in the front and in the back and air conditioning is included and lovely to have on those warmer days and longer journeys.  If you would like to watch a demonstration on how to use a wheelchair accessible vehicle, please click on the ‘Advice’ button above and you can see for yourself just how secure the wheelchair user is when travelling out and about.  A great WAV to own and, of course, made by Volkswagen.
