Wheelchair Accessible Volkwagen Caddy

A wheelchair accessible vehicle that can accommodate up to six passengers including the wheelchair user.  Great if you need those extra seats but also very versatile as the rear seats can also be folded down or tilted forwards providing additional space for the wheelchair passenger should this be required (also ideal for a scooter). Also equipped with a winch to help board the wheelchair/wheelchair passenger into the vehicle (taking all the effort away), this is a very purposeful WAV!

Converted by Automotive Mobility, the adaptations include a lowered floor creating the internal height required for the wheelchair passenger to fit in comfortably; a wheelchair access ramp for accessing and exiting the vehicle and the wheelchair restraint and safety belt system to secure the wheelchair/wheelchair user in securely when travelling out and about.  The windows in the back have been blacked out providing privacy for the rear passengers should this be your preference.    Storage comes in the form of a useful overhead shelf in the front (ideal for placing items out of sight) plus a number of side pockets in the rear.  With drink holders both in the front and the back, this is a very comfortable and well equipped wheelchair accessible vehicle.
