The VW Sharan has everything you need to get out and about in comfort with a wheelchair passenger.  It is a very adaptable vehicle with the capacity to seat up to six passengers including the wheelchair user.  The rear seats are foldable, the middle seat is removable and the two outer seats have Isofix – a great car for family use!

The converters Brotherwood have adapted this vehicle to a very high standard.  Firstly, the one piece ramp at the rear is particularly lightweight and suitable for someone who struggles to lift and lower heavy items.  Secondly, the powered tailgate opens and closes the back of the vehicle with no effort at all and thirdly, the side sliding doors are also powered and can be opened and closed using the key fob – no more pushing and pulling!   The wheelchair passenger can be positioned either behind the row of three seats in the rear or in between the outer rear seats when the middle seat has been removed so that they can sit nearer to the front.  The back of seat trays provide a useful surface to place drinks etc for the rear passengers when the car is stationary plus there are additional drink holders for the front occupants to use.  This Sharan provides a comfortable and smooth ride when out and about and with the addition of DAB radio and Bluetooth technology, this VW has everything you should need for an enjoyable journey.
