What a lovely vibrant blue VW Caddy this is!  This wheelchair accessible vehicle can take up to six passengers including the wheelchair user so its ideal for a family, or for anyone needing more seats.

The conversion is by Automotive and has been adapted with a lowered floor that has also been carpeted for added luxury.  The two piece, non-slip ramp provides the means for pushing a wheelchair (or scooter) into the rear of the vehicle with ease.  Once inside, the wheelchair restraints come into play and ensure that the wheelchair is securely fastened in.  The safety belt system then secures the wheelchair user so they can feel both safe and secure before setting off on any journeys.  This car provides excellent side and front visibility so that the wheelchair user can enjoy the scenery when out and about (very important in our view!) and on those warmer days this car has been fitted with air conditioning to help keep all on board nice and cool and comfortable.  You will see from the photographs that there is a very handy overhead shelf – useful indeed for placing items out of sight or for storing anything you need tidily.
