Wheelchair Accessible Ford Tourneo

A compact wheelchair accessible vehicle that can accommodate up to five passengers including the wheelchair user.  This purposeful vehicle also has bluetooth and DAB radio for all to enjoy.

A lovely conversion by Brotherwood and adapted with a lowered floor and a lightweight, one-piece ramp at the rear making accessing and exiting with a wheelchair/wheelchair user (or scooter) very easy to do.  The four point wheelchair restraints ensure that the wheelchair is fastened in securely and all that is then required is to click the adapted safety belt around the wheelchair passenger and your journey can begin.  If you would like to watch a demonstration of how the adaptations work, please select the ‘Advice’ button above and click on ‘How easy is it to use a WAV’ from the drop down list (demonstrated on a similar vehicle).  From this you can see just how safe and secure the wheelchair passenger is in the back.  We have also provided a wealth of useful information under the ‘Advice’ banner designed to help you find the right vehicle to suit your particular needs.   Air conditioning is also included in this WAV and great to have on those warmer days but also very useful for de-misting those windscreens during the colder weather.  A nice wheelchair accessible vehicle to own.

The ride quality in this vehicle is very smooth and the 1.6 litre diesel engine provides plenty of power.  A great vehicle to escape the house for a while with either a wheelchair user or scooter.
